It all begins with your inquiry! Once you visit my website and fill out the contact form, you’ll hear back from me within 24-48 hours. I believe prompt communication is key to setting the tone for a great experience. In my first response, I’ll provide you with my availability, pricing details, and an invitation to schedule a discovery call. During this call, I learn about your wedding vision, what matters most to you, and how we can create magic together. This step is all about building a connection and making sure we’re the perfect fit.
Step 2: Booking and Planning Process
After our discovery call, if you decide I’m the right photographer for you, I’ll send over a customized proposal and contract. A signed agreement and a retainer officially secure your date. From there, the real fun begins! You’ll receive my exclusive wedding guide packed with tips, timeline examples, and vendor recommendations to help you feel completely prepared. My goal is to be a resource for you—not just your photographer, but your guide and support system during this exciting time.
Step 3: Engagement Session (Optional but Recommended)
An engagement session is a wonderful way for us to get comfortable working together before your big day. We’ll plan a session that reflects your style—whether that’s a chic downtown shoot or a romantic outdoor adventure. You’ll not only have gorgeous photos to use for your save-the-dates, but you’ll also gain confidence in front of the camera, making wedding day portraits feel effortless and natural.
Step 4: Pre-Wedding Check-In
About 30 Day’s before your wedding, I’ll reach out to finalize all the important details. Together, we’ll review your timeline, create a family shot list, and discuss any must-have photos or special moments you want captured. Clear communication ensures I understand your priorities, and you feel at ease knowing everything is in place. I also collaborate with your planner, coordinator, or other vendors to keep everything flowing smoothly.
Step 5: Wedding Day Coverage
Your wedding day has arrived, and my focus is simple: capture the real, raw, beautiful moments as they unfold. Whether it’s the quiet excitement as you get ready, the joyful tears during the ceremony, or the wild fun on the dance floor, I’m there documenting it all. I work with a relaxed yet organized approach, blending posed portraits with candid storytelling to create a full narrative of your day. You can relax and live each moment knowing your memories are in good hands.
Step 6: Sneak Peeks
Within 72 hours after your wedding, you’ll receive a handful of sneak peek images to relive the magic and share with your family and friends. I know how exciting it is to see those first glimpses, and I love delivering a few early favorites while you’re still basking in the glow of your celebration!
Step 7: Editing and Gallery Delivery
After the wedding, I carefully hand-edit every image to ensure each one reflects the beauty, emotions, and atmosphere of your day. This detailed editing process typically takes 6-8 weeks. Once complete, your final gallery is delivered through a private, easy-to-use online platform where you can download, share, and print your photos. I also offer heirloom-quality albums, so you can preserve your story in a tangible, beautiful way for generations.
Step 8: Beyond the Gallery
Even after delivery, my relationship with my couples often continues! Many of my wedding clients return for anniversary sessions, maternity shoots, or family portraits as their lives grow and change. It’s a true honor to document your journey beyond the wedding day.
